We live for wine, and carry out our work with expertise and attentive care. The winery owner Josef Waldner and enologist Martin Pollinger are genuine people with a deep love for nature. We love what we do.
INNOVATIVE AND INTUITIVE
The family of Josef Waldner, the winery owner, has been making wine in South Tyrol for 350 years. His vision is to create authentic, charismatic wines which express the allure of the Alpine landscape and the Mediterranean climate. Eichenstein wines create a lasting memory and stir your soul. At Josef Waldner’s side is manager and enologist Martin Pollinger.
He has his degree in viniculture from the technical college in Geisenheim, and boasts a wealth of international experience in prestigious vineyards. Here at the Eichenstein, he gives form to his clear, innovative vision and in his wine stylistics, strives unceasingly to create clear-cut, forthright, varietal-true wines.
