WHERE THE EARTH MEETS THE SKY
The Eichenstein Winery gazes out over the Texel mountain range to the north, the Etsch Valley to the south, and the city of Meran from the dreamy heights of 550 metres, where porphyry, quartzite and granite soil, a Mediterranean climate and the Alpine countryside blend and mature into the essence of Eichenstein wines.

GLORIA DEI
Named after the World Rose, this elegant, fruity cuvée is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Riesling. The Sauvignon brings a spicy note, the Pinot Blanc provides structure and full body, and the Riesling adds a fresh note.

THE TERROIR
From up on high at 550 m, the Eichenstein Winery looks out from Freiberg to Meran, the Etsch Valley and the Texel mountain range. The 4-hectare Eichenstein land faces south-west: To the north, the towering peaks shelter us from harsh winds, and the open lands of the south bring the warmth of the Mediterranean climate. The temperature fluctuations between day and night give us an elegant freshness; the mineral-rich soil abounds with porphyry and granite, remnants of an ancient volcano. These superlative conditions favour the abundant growth of our vines and the success of our grapes. Three parcels of land in Marling (Meran), each around 2 hectares, also belong to the Eichenstein Winery.
OUR ESSENCE
TERROIR AND GRAPEVINES

Each vintage is marked by wines of distinct authenticity, a clear articulation of the Eichenstein terroir: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Trollinger develop their identity and expressivity here, and are vinified with skill and passion into first-class wines.
